Why I'm doing the 3 Peaks Adventure
I pledge to hike 18 kilometers to Mt. Kosciuszko in one day to raise funds for medical research. With every step I take as part of Children’s Medical Research Institute - 3 Peaks Adventure NSW 2022, I’ll be raising vital funds for world-leading research to find better treatments and cures for children's genetic diseases, including cancer.
Being a cancer researcher myself, and witnessing the challenges of cancer and genetic disorders faced by family, friends and the community, I wish to contribute to finding cures both in and out of the lab.
