Why I’m doing it
This Saturday, 12th November I will be hiking 3 Peaks in Mt Koszioscko National Park! Current temp is 7 degrees and the snow is slowly melting. I will be trekking with a team of wonderful supporters, and it is going to be tough, but all for a great cause.

With every step I take as
part of Children’s Medical Research Institute - 3 Peaks Adventure, I’ll
be raising vital funds for world-leading research to find better treatments and
cures for children's genetic diseases.
Kids just want to be kids, but instead of playing sports with their friends or catching butterflies on a sunny day, these kids are getting liver transplants, taking dozens of medications, or getting their next dose of chemotherapy. It shouldn’t be this way. You can help the scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute find cures, so these kids can go back to being kids.

Every donation will be appreciated and any amount will count! Your contribution:
• $5 – we can purchase “night vision” dye to see what’s happening inside cells.
• $10 – we can detect a single change in DNA that can cause a genetic disease.
• $15 – You will fund an electron microscope work session to show how we can target new anticancer therapies.
• $20 – You will change the level of detail we can provide someone newly diagnosed with a rare disorder from ‘we don’t know’ to ‘here’s how we can help.’
• $50 – Help us identify DNA changes that turn normal cells into cancer.
• $100 – Help us purchase 1 mg of a compound to test as a potential cancer treatment.
• $200 – Add more protein scans to our database and transform how doctors diagnose and treat cancer.
• $500 - Fund 3 days of research, bringing us closer to better treatments for every type of cancer.
