Why I’m doing it
We have been blessed with the opportunity to be able to help fund research at Children's Medical Research Institute who are working to develop a gene therapy for Will's condition.

On the 4th of October, 2019, our beautiful son, Will, was diagnosed with VAMP2 gene deletion (with associated Autism, moderate intellectual disability, chronic encephalopathy, OCD, chronic motor and vocal tic disorder, ADHD, generalised anxiety disorder).
Will has limited speech and struggles to regulate his emotions. Due to his moderate intellectual disability, he's unable to read or write.
Thankfully, Will is able to attend a special school for children with disabilities.
